Independence Day Lunch, 20th July 2012
Jointly organised by the Colombian Embassy, the British & Colombian Chamber of Commerce and the Anglo Colombian Society, was held at the RAC Club in London. This occasion marked the 30th anniversary of the Nobel Prize for Literature awarded to Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Christmas Party
This took place on Monday 3rd December at Canning House, where we were pleased to welcome over 60 members and guests to a Colombian christmas celebration with pasabocas, villancicos and good company.
The Peace Process
On Tuesday 22nd January 2013 we are pleased to have as our guest Professor Malcolm Deas who will speak to us on the subject of Why it is difficult to make peace in Colombia and why it's perhaps possible.
The event is being held at the Colombian Consulate, 35 Portland Place, London W1B 1AE commencing at 6.30pm and followed by a glass of wine. Members at £6.00; non-members £8.00
